YSense Review 2021: Scam or Legit
This ySense review is composed of two sections which are my own ySense review and the users review. I added the other users review so you will have better idea how good or bad ySense is from these members standpoint.
This YSense Review 2021 is about knowing how to earn money taking surveys and other simple activities online. This will also give you better idea if ySense is for you or not.
What Is ySense?
ySense previously known as ClixSense used to be one of the top PTC Sites where you can earn money by viewing ads.
When Paypal banned all PTC sites from using their service due to scam reports, they eventually removed PTC from their site.
Few months after removing PTC on their site, their Paypal payment method was reinstated.

How Am I Going To Be Paid?

Who Can Join ySense?
ySense accepts members above 16 year of age, but some countries are restricted like Afghanistan, Antarctica, China, Cuba, Iran, Iraq, North Korea, and Vietnam. This is where ySense is ahead of the competition, it’s available to almost all countries you could think of.

Quick ySense Backgorund
ySense was established on February 2007. It was initially founded by Steven Girsky, but the ownership was handed over to Jim Grago on May 2010 and then was sold to Prodege LLC.
There are a several ways to earn money from their site and taking surveys and doing simple tasks online is only few of those.
Just like what has been said a while ago, ySense started as a PTC site which heavily relies on serving ads to earn money.
But as time goes by they added more programs like completing offers, playing grid, doing tasks and taking surveys.
Back when ySense or ClixSense was still a PTC site, it was one of the very few legitimate sites and can easily be considered as the best PTC site.
Today, ySense is one of the top GPT sites and survey sites all because it never missed to pay its members.
Make Money Through Surveys and Tasks
There are several ways to earn money from ySense, which makes it very popular. Here are some of their programs.
Tasks value varies by difficulty and level. If you’re just getting started, by default your level is 0. But as you complete more tasks, your level will go up one notch at a time.
As you level up, more tasks will be available for you which pay better, but expect that those are harder than tasks for beginners.
Please take note, there are some tasks that are extremely difficult, I suggest to avoid them because they will eat your time without completing anything.
ClixOffers is a program very similar to Tasks.
You need to complete the task provided by following the instructions, and once you are done, you will submit the confirmation and it will be reviewed.
The payment is not instant, it will be verified and then approved if the task was done correctly. The amount of reward varies on the offer.
Some give out $0.1 per offer and some give $0.02.
Just like Tasks, ClixOffers are not always available so take advantage of them while they are available.
Members from top tier countries have more opportunities to make more cash from surveys. Since most survey panels target is those audience from top tier countries, it make sense that lots of surveys are available for them.
The only thing I don’t like is after you answered so many questions, it will turn out that you’re not eligible. This happens specially to those who are outside top tier countries.
If this will happen to you, make sure to post it in their help forum, or better yet raise it to YSense so they can look into it.
Survey Site That Pays Through Paypal
ySense is allowing almost everyone(like myself) to join their website and make extra money from taking surveys and tasks.
But I think that members from top tier countries will have a much better chance of qualifying for a survey, because most those are intended for them.
ySense is one of the top survey sites that pays through Paypal. However, it needs a little bit of improvement on screening the surveys they offer to the members.
It’s a bit frustrating when you answer several questions and spend 10-15 minutes, only to find out that you’re not eligible.
The screening process should only take 5 questions to identify if a user is “really” eligible to take the survey or not.
I said that because they already have the members profile information at hand. Hence, the members who were invited should already be prequalified for the survey.
ClixSense is so much better in terms of serving surveys to members..
ySense Referral Program
These programs allow you to earn money from your referrals activities, so if you have tons of referrals, you may have passive income here.
Sign up commission:
For each active referrals, ySense sign up commission is either $0.10 or $0.30. Depending on the referrals’ location or country (see list below).
Once your referrals earn their first $5.00 (excluding commissions and bonuses) you will also earn an extra $2.00 bonus!
Top Tier Countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States.
To prevent abuse, the sign up commissions are not credited instantly.
Instead, these commissions will be paid whenever certain conditions have been met.
But not earlier than 10 days after the sign up date.
These conditions include, but are not limited to, performing at least 3 actions on 3 distinct (different) days.
Simply put, if your referrals are active you will get the sign up commission accordingly.
For every approved Survey, Offer and Task your referrals complete you earn a whopping 20% commission of what they earn.
Increase your commission level up to 30%:
If you have 100 or more active referrals with at least one transaction in the past 30 days, you get an additional 5% affiliate commission. Making your affiliate commission 25%.
If you have 200 or more active referrals you get an additional 10% affiliate commission. Making your affiliate commissions a whopping 30%!
The more active your referrals are the more you earn.
Here’s the screenshot of my total earnings. I only made less than $20 myself, the rest came from the referral program.
Note: I only started making passive income after getting hundreds of referrals from my blog.
I’m not making much, but it’s a good source of extra cash for free and without doing anything.
ySense Scam or Legit?
If you were told that ySense can make you rich or earn significant passive income. You might say that ySense is a scam, because that will not happen.
YSense is not a get rich scheme. It’s a GPT where you will be paid small amount by doing simple tasks online.
So if you have a spare time and wants to make extra cash taking surveys, I recommend to join ySense.
It’s nowhere near perfect, but I have no doubt that ySense is a legitimate website.
It’s free, it pays, it never scammed or cheated anyone and it passed the test of time.
