Swagbucks User Reviews 2017

Swagbucks is a popular website where you can make extra money online by taking surveys, watching videos, searching websites, cash back from shopping, printing coupons and referring members.

You will be rewarded with SB points for doing those tasks and it can be redeemed as cash through Paypal or gift cards from Amazon, Walmart, Starbucks etc.

Swagbucks is a BBB Accredited Business since May 21, 2010 which means it’s a Legitimate business. Its parent company is Prodege LLC. They are not a ponzi scheme or get-rich-quick system that we normally see on the internet, it’s a website that allows users to make extra cash on the side.

This isn’t a review to prove if Swagbucks is legit or not because it has been proven long time ago that it is a Legit website. What we hope to do is to give new members information about them.

Swagbucks User Reviews

The best way to identify how good or bad is a product, is through user reviews and feedback. Since they used it first hand, they can share their experience and provide honest feedback whether its good or bad.

With that said, we gathered Positive and Negative reviews from Bloggers and Swagbucks users for us to we can have a better idea how good it is. Here are those:

Positive Reviews

I think anyone can benefit from signing up with Swagbucks, even if all use is their search feature, you will be slowly but surely be earning and getting some cash/rewards each year that you otherwise wouldn’t.

For teenagers wanting to make some money, or Stay at home moms, I think using some of the methods listed above, you could make a little extra cash on the side. While taking surveys all day isn’t glamourous, it sure beats digging ditches for minimum wage 😉

It’s true that you can earn money from Swagbucks but it cannot replace your day job. You can make extra cash on the side which is better than nothing.

One of my favorite sites. There’s always something for me to do. Their support teams are very friendly, professional and helpful. Thoughtful surveys, and i get paid.

There are enough surveys and tasks for you to spend your free time, and their Support team is always their to help if you encounter issues.

“Very good one”

Love the credits that you can receive for minimal tasks. They always pay out. Most of the time it is quicker than the 10-14 days stated. Really have fun with this one.

We already know that Swagbucks gives SB points for doing simple tasks such as searching the internet and watching videos. This comment is one of the many proofs of it and that they pay on time.

Swagbucks brings a lot to the table for sure, but only if you use it in a relaxed way.

It’s definitely not a scam and worth giving a shot

Swagbucks is an Internet search engine much like Yahoo! or Bing. The difference is that you get paid for searching the Internet. I know, it sounds like a scam, but I have gotten my rewards multiple times, and I can assure you that it isn’t a scam.

2 Bloggers with the same conclusion, Swagbucks is not a scam.

“Great way to make extra $”
Ive been a swagbucks member almost 6 yrs and have made over $7,000. I dont do it for a living. I do it for extra money. There are days a spent a lot of time and days I spent a little time. You get out of it what you put into it!
Tip for consumers: Don’t give up. Join a good facebook group and learn the ropes!

“You have to work hard to be rewarded, but it does pay!”
Swagbucks is amazing! I started using them a little over a week and a half ago and I’m almost up to 5,000 points! I’ve had a lot of fun with the surveys and even learned new things that I didn’t know before!!

2 users that are making at least $100 every month from Swagbucks.

Those are just few of hundreds of positive feedback from users and bloggers, I’m sure you will a lot more online.

Now, they say nothing is perfect.. It’s true.. Swagbucks is not an exemption to it..

They also have members who had bad experience with them and unhappy with their website. Let’s check what they said about Swagbucks.

Negative Reviews

“Not crazy about them”
August 08, 2016 by Inga from United States
I think the site is “busy looking”, the point accumulation for rewards is to large making it challenging to get any decent reward within a reasonable time. If you look at the description above for them, even the numbers don’t make any sense. I’m not crazy about them,.

It stated that their website is too crowded and it’s not user-friendly for some. Also, it may take a while to earn decent points that gives you good rewards.

“Don’t Qualify”
August 08, 2016 by Melissa from United States
I took over 20 surveys, and least 15 of those said that they were no longer available once I clicked on them. When brand new surveys pop up, those still say that. It’s hard to believe that a survey I received less than 7 seconds ago is full already. The rest I did not qualify for. Even the peanut lab surveys, I qualified for just one out of 6. As for the offers, I completed an offer to sign up for a mailing list, and was not credited. The offers you get of 2 points for watching 5 bad videos isn’t worth it either.

This is common for most Paid survey sites, due to preliminary questions you can get disqualified in the middle of a survey. Companies conducting the survey are filtering those who can take it to get accurate data they need.

There are several factors to consider such as salary, location, age, gender, occupation, etc.

However, some are being unfair by doing more preliminary questions after 5 or 10 mins of doing the survey. It happened to me as well on other Survey panels.

I recently joined Swagbucks, yes it does pay, you do receive gift cards, however you will also receive lots, and lots of calls from Fake IRS, satellite sales, ect. They sell your contact information. Beware..

Deactivated my account for no reason when I had five gift cards that they wouldnt email me the codes! WASTE OF TIME! Dont trust them! This is a scam site for you to fill out forms with the promise of paying you for your time.

“Be Aware”
It’s getting harder and harder to earn, or to get a decent reply or any help from their HQ or support team. Try if you have the time, but be prepared to not get paid for some of your work, and don’t let your balance get too high before cashing out. I have the feeling that this place is going to close up shop some day soon, and anyone with a balance of $ owed will be left hanging in the wind.

“Not worth Your Time”
The offers barely give you any points. I joined through a Listia credit offer and you have to get 500 SB by the end of a month or so…..basically impossible if you have a life. I don’t recommend this place at all. They also want you to watch double digits of videos for barely any SB and don’t even get me started on the surveys.

All these negative feedback are from users who tried Swagbucks. They posted their take through SiteJabber.

As you can see, there’s no perfect website out there for everyone. Trying it yourself is the best way to find out if it’s good for you or not.

Wrap Up

You can definitely make extra money from Swagbucks just by doing things that you normally do online. No technical background needed, it’s free to join and it pays. It’s far from being perfect but it’s far from being a scam as well.
